The appraiser’s job is not always an easy one. At times they become the bearer of bad news in today’s economic climate. It is often hard for home owners to see their values decline or learn that the new
pool they put in last summer is not bringing in the ROI they had expected. The appraiser has to look at true market value and market reaction; how much extra is a potential buyer willing to pay for that new pool? These can be tough numbers for home owners to accept. Through it all though we continue to receive raving reviews from borrowers on their appraisal experience. One recent comment stated “Kevin was very punctual, polite, and knowledgeable. I feel confident that I had the best appraiser- A+!” We sent a thank you card out to this appraiser and were thrilled to get his response:
